Types of Hearing Loss
There are three kinds of hearing loss. It includes sensorineural hearing loss, conductive hearing loss and mixed hearing loss. In sensorineural type, there is a damage of your inner ear nerves. The main reason responsible for this type is aging. Other reasons include too much noise exposure, diabetes, high fever, stroke and acoustic tumors.
Conductive type can be both permanent and temporary. When suffering from this condition, you will find that sound do not reach your inner ear. Some of the common reason responsible for conductive type are wax buildup, ear canal infection and otosclerosis. Mixed type is a combination of both sensorineural type and conductive type. When suffering from mixed type, you will not be able to hear other people in a proper manner.
